This Refund Policy applies to payments made to Caspian Lifesciences Private Limited (Caspian Diagnostic Centre) for diagnostic tests, packages and services, including online payments made on caspianlabs.in via our payment partner Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking and wallets).
Eligibility for refund
- Before sample collection / test processing: If you cancel a booking before the sample is collected or the test is processed, you are eligible for a full refund, including any online prepayment.
- After sample collection / processing: Once a sample has been collected and/or the test has been processed, the cost of that test is non-refundable, as laboratory resources and reagents have been consumed.
- Home-visit charge: Where a home-collection visit charge was paid online, it is refunded in full if you cancel before our phlebotomist is dispatched. If the phlebotomist has already visited or been dispatched, the visit charge for that visit is non-refundable. For two-visit bookings (e.g., fasting and post-meal samples), the charge for a second visit that has not taken place is refundable.
- Duplicate or failed payments: If you are charged more than once for the same booking, or money is deducted but the booking is not confirmed, the excess/failed amount is fully refunded.
- Service not rendered: If we are unable to provide a booked test, a full refund is issued for that test.
How refunds are processed
- Approved refunds are made to the original payment method. Online payments are refunded through Razorpay to the same UPI ID, card or account used to pay.
- Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days of approval; the time for the amount to reflect depends on your bank/payment provider.
- When requesting a refund for an online payment, please quote your Booking Ref and/or the Razorpay Payment ID from your payment receipt; it helps us locate the transaction instantly.
