Caspian Lifesciences Private Limited, operating as Caspian Diagnostic Centre, respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal and health information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us handle it, and what you can do about it.
1. Information we collect
- Identity & contact: name, age, sex, phone number, email and address.
- Health information: tests booked, samples, results and reports.
- Home collection location: if you book a home visit, your address and, if you choose “Use my current location” or place a pin on the map, that map location, so our staff can find you.
- Payment information: processed by Razorpay, our payment partner. We do not receive or store card numbers, UPI PINs or bank credentials.
- WhatsApp updates: if you use the “Get package offers and camp dates on WhatsApp” box, your WhatsApp number, your name if you give it, the page you signed up on, and a scrambled (hashed) form of your internet address, used only to limit repeated sign-ups from one connection.
- Website usage: which pages and buttons are used, collected through the analytics tools named in section 8.
2. How we use it
- To register you, process bookings, collect samples and generate reports.
- To deliver reports and communicate about your tests (WhatsApp, SMS, email or call).
- To send the WhatsApp updates you asked for, which are package offers and camp dates, and nothing else under that sign-up.
- To process payments, invoicing and refunds.
- To see which parts of the website are useful and to measure our advertising.
- To meet legal and regulatory requirements.
3. Confidentiality of health data
Your test results are treated as confidential medical information. They are shared only with you, the referring doctor (where applicable), and authorised laboratory personnel, or where required by law. Test results are never shared with the analytics or advertising services named in section 8.
4. Data security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including SSL-encrypted transfer, role-based access and secure report delivery. Payment data is handled by a PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateway.
5. Who helps us handle it
We do not sell your personal or health data. We share it only with the services below, and only for the purpose given:
- CrelioHealth (LiveHealth), our laboratory information system, where your registration, bill and reports are kept.
- Razorpay, when you pay online. Your name, phone number and email are passed to them to process the payment. They handle your card, UPI or bank details directly under their own privacy policy.
- Reference laboratories, only for a test that we send out to them.
- Supabase, which hosts the database in Mumbai, India, where WhatsApp update sign-ups are stored.
- WhatsApp, a service of Meta Platforms, which carries reports and the updates you asked for, under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy.
- Vercel, which hosts this website.
- OpenStreetMap, only if you use the map to mark your home collection location. The map pictures are loaded from OpenStreetMap, and anything you type into the map’s search box is sent to its search service to find the place.
- Google, Meta and Elfsight, as described in section 8.
- Authorities, where the law requires it, and only to the extent required.
6. How long we keep it
Registration, test and billing records are kept for the period required by medical and tax regulations. WhatsApp update sign-ups are kept until you ask us to stop. When you do, we mark your number as unsubscribed so it is not messaged again; if you would rather we delete it completely, write to us and we will.
7. Your rights
You may ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, to give you a copy of your reports, to delete information we are not required to keep, and to withdraw your consent for future use. To stop WhatsApp updates, reply STOP to any message or write to us. We will respond to any request within 30 days.
8. Cookies and analytics
This website uses Google Analytics (Google) to count visits and see which pages and buttons are used, and the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms) to measure our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Both start after the page has opened. Both set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser, and Google and Meta may use the information under their own privacy policies. The Google reviews shown on the homepage are loaded through Elfsight, which may also set its own cookies.
The language you choose on the website is remembered on your own device so it is still set when you come back. It is not sent to us.
You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. Booking a test and paying online do not depend on them.
